1. What

Through the Good News of Jesus Christ, the goals of our church are:

to know God, to love Him supremely, and to serve His kingdom now.  (Mark 12:30)

  1. How?

These are being done in the following ways:

in worship, praise and prayer to God  (Psalm 95:1-7; Philippians 4:6) in the reading, study and obedience of Scripture as God’s rule for faith and practice

(Psalm 119:105; 2 Timothy 3:11) in living honest and godly lives, full of good works in God’s Spirit (Titus 2:1-15; Ephesians

2:10) in serving each other as ministers of Christ in His body according to each one’s abilities and resources (Romans 12:3-8; Ephesians 4:15-16)  in telling the

Gospel by word and deed to non-Christians around us and, by faithful involvement in world-wide missions, to the whole world  (Matthew 28:19-20; 5:16)

III. When and Where?

It is imperative to recognize that we are the church at all times so that these goals are  pursued in these ways whether in privacy, home and family, vocation, leisure

or in our gathered times of church activities.  (Deuteronomy 6:7; Colossians 3:17)
